In approximately 55 days my family and I will be headed to Houston for the summer. Last September I accepted an internship with a construction company called HOAR. They are a commercial builder in the greater Houston area. Their corporate office is located in Birmingham, Alabama. For 2014, they were ranked number 149 on ENR top 400 construction management firms. That same year, they recorded around $407.6 million dollars of revenue. I recently found out that I would be assigned to the hotel Alessandra. The project is located at 1070 Dallas Street Houston, Texas 77002. It has a total of 21 stories and is a 225-room luxury hotel. The hotel is slated to debut in late 2016.
